An open letter to many

I can see the change - the drastic change - in your attitude and your behavior. It is obvious that you are not you. You are scattered and freaked out and confused and you are not fooling anyone. The people around you notice. They notice because they respect you and admire you and love you and they flat out fucking care. They notice because you are a great friend and have helped them and influenced them. They notice because they know you very well, better than you think. If, at the end of the day, you don't feel good about yourself or the position you're in or the decisions you are making or the life you are leading then it is time for fundamental change. We get one chance at this amigo. One. So be you, surround yourself with people who love you and respect you for who you are. It is the only way.
