Aujourd'hui

After eight or nine days or so of sunshine and plus 20 degree temperatures it has turned cloudy and cool here in the heart of the French Alps. I had a terrific lunch with La Chatte at this great Vietnamese place in St. Bruno, then did a quick shop at this little Asian store where I picked up some dried noodle soups, a big bottle of sweet and sour sauce for chicken, two fat juicy limes and six cans of Tsing Tao with those old school pull-tabs we used to have back in the day. Speaking of back in the day, does anybody remember that 'rush' crap all the cool kids used to get high off back in High School? Came in a brown translucent jar and they inhaled the vapours at their lockers before going to class? Anybody? Not sure why I just thought of that...

And the new Maclean's also arrived. The one about private medical care in Canada... a topic for another time. I think I'll spend the rest of the day writing and listening to music.
