No Joke

Woke up to take a leak at around 4am last week down in Playa Hermosa (the one down by Mal Pais, not the one north of Tamarindo). The Howler monkeys were barking up a storm and as I stood there peeing all over paradise, I could see some movement over by the 2 plastic chairs and plastic table we had set up so we could eat outside. When my eyes adjusted to the darkness there was one Howler climbing on the table and another one sitting in the fucking chair! I'm serious. I couldn't friggin' believe it! First it was the iguanas running around like goddamn squirrels and now a fucking Howler chilling out in a plastic deck chair. What a trip.
