Cock the Hammer

Still b-a-k-e-d but managed to muster up enough energy and courage to leave the apartment and go buy a few groceries. Got sidetracked and hit Le Champolion for a three euro pint. It's this little bar on Blvd. Gambetta by the fluffy fountain and across from the used book/cd/dvd place where I bought Aim's 'Hinterland' for five euros fifty. Great record. It's also right around the corner from my buddy Jerome's gallery. It's called 'Spacejunk' and there is a 'Vernissage' tonight featuring Brazilian artist/skateboarder, Walter Tada “Tinho” Nomura. Should be fun. After my delicious cold pint I hit 'Casino' for some munchies, beer and a just-outta-the-oven baguette then headed back home. Got accosted by one of the 'Greenpeacers' but played the 'etranger' angle and got out of there pretty quick.
